a Stolen Heart

Toledo, you have stolen my heart. I only spent a day within your walls and still I know that a piece of me was left behind. When we made it to the overlook before entering your perimeter I was already speechless at your beauty. Enchanted as I walked through your narrow streets, my head craning upwards. It takes a lot to make me cry, and yet when I turned the corner and there stood the cathedral, it was pure joy. So much to see so little time. Having seen what inspired El Greco, having gazed at the beautiful steel your craftsman produce, and wanting to spend days more I left. One thing remains certain to me. I will return to you. So until next time, adios Toledo!

Peace, Love, and Happiness…
